What is Zavia?

Zavia is an independent digital magazine covering artificial intelligence, technology, student life, education, careers, freelancing, and Pakistan — alongside free interactive tools like calculators and converters. It is built for students, young professionals, developers, creators, and curious readers aged roughly 16 to 35, in Pakistan and around the world.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants useful, honest, well-explained content: a student choosing what to learn next, a freelancer landing a first client, a reader trying to understand what AI actually does. You do not need a technical background to read Zavia — but if you have one, you will find depth here too.

Editorial philosophy

  • People-first content. Written to be genuinely useful, not to game search engines.
  • Honest by default. No fake statistics, no invented experiences, no guaranteed-income promises. What we do not know, we say plainly.
  • Practical over theoretical. Guides you can act on, tools you can use, explanations that respect your time.
  • Original perspective. A student's honest viewpoint from Pakistan, with global relevance.

Who makes it?

Zavia was founded by Uzair Malik, a Computer Science student at COMSATS University Abbottabad, Pakistan. It is a small independent publication — not a large media company — and it is upfront about that. Read our editorial policy for how content is produced and reviewed.

How is it funded?

Zavia plans to sustain itself through ethical monetization: clearly-labeled advertising, affiliate links (always disclosed), sponsorships, and digital products. Editorial content is never for sale — see the affiliate disclosure and advertise pages.
